Help to design a Govanhill Heritage Mural 

Resident’s help is wanted to design the second mural in the Govanhill Open Museum street heritage trail! This time we invite all residents to design a Govanhill bookshelf together. Join in the design process: tell us what treasures would you put on it or share a photo of your own bookshelf by emailing gom@govanhillha.org or by commenting under this Facebook post: Facebook. We are going to explore some other local themes including the different trades and other ideas, so follow Govanhill Open Museum on Facebook to take part.

Govanhill Food Stories – 13 August – 12 – 4pm – Bat.Lab. next to Govanhill Picture House, G42 8SL. Govanhill Food Stories edition of Govanhill Community Market will celebrate Govanhill’s multicultural community’s stories through food as part of the Govanhill International Festival and the Year of Stories 2022. Women on Wheels (SCIO) is a community cycling hub for women. A service designed and led by women, they deliver a range of cycling activities to get women back on a bike or onto a bike for the very first time.
