Thriving Govanhill Fund

£35k is available to the Govanhill community for initiatives to improve local health and wellbeing. The Thriving Govanhill Fund offers grants of £1000 or £2500 to groups who want to deliver projects to improve local health outcomes. The local community can vote on the projects which it wants to see delivered via a participatory budgeting process. More information and application form:

Guitar & Ukulele Sessions with Music Broth 

As part of the Band Together project, Music Broth are hosting the next block of Guitar and Ukulele Lessons online and in person in Govanhill every Saturday starting on 3rd September for 8 weeks! The group sessions are inclusive and open for any budding musicians or music enthusiasts who’d enjoy learning either or both instruments or brush up on their chords, tabs, riffs, techniques and songs.
